The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination 2019 for Recruitment of Government Jobs (Sarkari Naukri) Vacancy of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs - viz.
Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)) and Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI) in CISF, in the month of December 2019
(from 11/12/2019 to 13/12/2019). Therefore, SSC invites online applications on prescribed
format for the Sub-Inspectors in CAPF and Delhi Police.
About SSC
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) do recruitment for Class-III and Class-II staff vacancy in Central Government departments and organisations. It has headquartered in Delhi. Staff Selection Commission works under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India as an
autonomous organisation.
The fact that bulk of the staff of the Government at the Centre and in the States belonged to Class III and Class IV categories, Staff Selection Commission has given responsibility to make recruitment to various Class III (now Group “C”) (non-technical) posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and in Subordinate Offices. The functions of the Staff Selection Commission have been enlarged from time to time and now it carries out the recruitment also to all Group “B” posts also.

Sub-Inspectors are recruited through competitive examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and they are referred to as DASOs (Directly Appointed Subordinate Officers).
Following are the various CAPF working currently in India, under MoHA-
- Assam Rifles (AR)
- Border Security Force (BSF)
- Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
- Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
- Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
- National Security Guard (NSG) - There is no direct recruitment for NSG commandos.
- Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

- Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs - Vacancies classified as Group-B and will be intimated later, Pay Scale : Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400/- of 7th CPC pay index, Age : 20-25 years as on 01/01/2020
- Sub-Inspector (Executive) (Male/Female) in Delhi Police, : Vacancies classified as Group-C and will be intimated later, Pay Scale : Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400/- of 7th CPC pay index, Age : 20-25 years as on 01/01/2020
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive) in CISF : Vacancies classified as Group-C and will be intimated later, Pay Scale : Level-5 Rs. 29200-92300/- of 7th CPC pay index, Age : 20-25 years as on 01/01/2020
Qualification
Educational Qualification for all posts is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
Application Fee
Rs. 100/- to be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
