Agriculture Research Service (ARS) 2017 and National Eligibility Test (NET) - 2018
Agricultural Scientists’ Recruitment Board (ASRB) for (Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)) at Pusa, New Delhi will hold a Competitive ARS Examination – 2017 Preliminary Examination in combination with National Eligibility Test (NET) - 2018 for filling up the vacancies of 195 Scientists (UR-103, OBC-48, SC-23, ST-21, PWD-10) posts in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in the pay scale of ₹ 15600-39100 grade pay ₹
6000 in the ICAR Institutes in various disciplines :
NET Examination is conducted for being eligible for the positions of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in State Agricultural Universities / Agricultural Universities.
Examination
Online Preliminary Examination for ARS - 2017 combined with NET - 2018 (I) from 06/04/2018 to 13/04/2018 and Main Examination for ARS 2017 will be held on 24/06/2018 only.
Age
A candidate seeking admission to the Agricultural Research Service must have attained the age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01/01/2018. For Net - 21 years as on 01/01/2018 (no upper age limit)
Qualification
A candidate must have a Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject.
Application Fee
₹500/- for ARS - 2017 (No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women exempted) and ₹1000/- for NET 2018 (₹ 250/- for SC/ST/PWD) (No fee from Women candidates) ₹1500/- for both ARS and NET examination (₹ 250/- for both examination for SC/ST/PWD) (No fee from Women) to be paid online.
