Age Limit: Age of the applicants should be as per below as on 1st January 2015 while relaxation in upper age limit is also applicable according to norms of government but for this benefit candidates have to provide sufficient documents as said in notification.
Education Qualification:
  1. Desirous candidates should have passed matriculation/10th from recognized board and apart from this they should have done 2 years of Elementary Teacher Training course as well.
  2. He/she must have cracked in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET-1)
Application Fee:
  • General: Rs.500/-
  • Reserved: Rs.250/-
  • Ex-serviceman: Exempted.
Selection Procedure: Selection committee will prepare a merit list based on performance of the candidates in PSTET-1 and if any more than one candidate found to have same marks then preference would be given to max age candidate. In case of same age then final selection would be done based on marks obtained by candidates in ETT course.
