Junior Technical Superintendent and Senior Mechanic /Senior Laboratory
Assistant. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through

• Senior Mechanic /Senior Laboratory Assistant: 30 Posts
Total No. of Posts: 51 Posts
Maximum Age Limit
• Junior Technical Superintendent: 32 years.
• Senior Mechanic /Senior Laboratory Assistant: 27 years.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Govt. norms.
Educational Qualification
• Junior Technical Superintendent: 3 years Diploma in Electronics or Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Mechanical or Chemical or applied Mechanics or Civil Engineering or Textile Technology or Computer or IT Engineering or B.Sc in Chemistry or Biotechnology or Polymer Science or Textile Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and 4 years relevant experience.
• Senior Mechanic /Senior Laboratory Assistant: 3 years Diploma in Electronics or Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Mechanical or Chemical or applied Mechanics or Civil Engineering or Textile Technology or Computer or IT Engineering or B.Sc in Chemistry or Biotechnology or Polymer Science or Textile Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and 2 years relevant experience.
Application Fee
• GEN/OBC candidates need to pay Rs.50 in the form of demand draft/IPO drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Delhi, payable at New Delhi.
• No fee for SC/ST Candidates
Pay Scale
• Junior Technical Superintendent: PB-2, Rs.9300- 34800/- + GP Rs.4200/-
• Senior Mechanic /Senior Laboratory Assistant: PB-1, Rs.5200- 20200/- + GP Rs.2800/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test, practical test and presentation for the posts.
