Dredging Corporation of India Limited, requires Officers, Petty Officers and Crew to work on DCI Dredgers and other vessels on Contract Basis in the following categories:
  • DECK OFFICERS: 
    • Qualification: Holding COC / COS as Master (FG) / Mate (FG) / Dredge Master GR-I / II, Dredge Mate GR-I to work as Dredge Master / Chief Officer / 2nd Officer. 
  • ENGINEER OFFICERS: 
    • Qualification: Holding COC as MEO Class-I / II and IV Certificate to work as Chief / 2nd / 3rd / 4th Engineer Officer.
  • MECHANICIANS –III:
    • Qualification: MEO Class IV Part –A Certificate, duly completing I year workshop training in D.G. Shipping recognized institute OR COC as Sea going Engine Driver / 1st Class Engine Driver with 03 years experience in Merchant Navy Vessels / Dredgers / Off Shore Vessels.
  • ASST. MACHINISTS: 
    • Qualification: 
      • ITI Mechanical Fitter / Welding Trade / Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering and
      • should have experience of sailing in ship for 12 months or Marine workshop for period of 3 to 5 years. Welding experience is essential.
  • SEAMAN HELSMAN (S/H/MAN): 
    • Qualification: COC as Rating forming part of Navigational Watch Keeping and 1 year experience on board vessel as S/H/M.
  • ENGINE ROOM RATINGS: 
    • Qualification: COC as Rating forming part of Engine Room watch keeping and 6 months experience on board vessel as ERR-I.
  • CREW COOK: 
    • Qualification: Should possess Cook CDC as Cookery or COC as Cook or Pre-Sea Training in Catering Discipline, with 6 months experience as a cook on board Merchant Ship / Dredger / off shore vessels.
  • ASST.MANAGER (as O.I.C.): 4 posts (1SC+03UR) (Regular Posts): Scale of Pay Rs.16400 - 40500. NWKO (NCV) or Dredge Mate Grade - .II: Should possess relevant experience to work on Dredge Back Hoe as Officer Incharge. Shore Wages Payable.
    • Qualification: NCV TRAINEES (G.P.RATING): Minimum Xth Class pass from recognized Education Board and Pre-Sea G.P. Rating Course and passed the Exit Examination approved by D.G. Shipping with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
