  • CATEGORY – I (Stipendiary Trainee)
    • No. of Posts : 25 Posts (SC - 3, ST - 3, OBC - 7,UR - 12) 
    • Discipline:
      • Mech. Engg.
      • Chemical Engg.
      • Electrical Engg.
      • Electronics / Instrumentation Engg.
    • Educational Qualifications:
      • Diploma/Licentiate in Mechanical / Chemical/ Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC) with minimum 60% marks. 
    • Physics:
      • Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc. (Physics as principal and Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science /Chemistry as subsidiary subjects). 
    •  Age limit: 19 years Minimum and maximum 24 years as on 01.10.2010.
  • CATEGORY – II (Stipendiary Trainee)
    • No. of Posts : 51 Posts (SC - 8, ST - 5, OBC - 14,UR – 24) 
    •  Discipline:
      • Chemical Plant perator
      • Fitter
      • Electrical
      • Electronics / Instrumentation
      • Machinist
    •  Educational Qualifications:
      •  HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects)/SSC with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate PLUS ITI certificate in Chemical Plant Operation / Fitter / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/Machinist. The ITI/NCTVT qualification should be either of the following :- (ITI/NCTVT of 2 years duration) OR (ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.)
      • Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for the post of Chemical Plant Operator. *Candidates applying for Cat-II - Fitter may also be considered for Chemical Plant Operator.
    • Age limit: 18 years Minimum and maximum 22 years as on 01.10.2010.
