Faculty Recruitment (Rolling Advertisement)- Applications are invited from individuals who would enjoy the excitement of being associated with setting up ‘A World Class Education & Research Institution’. The positions at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor are available in the regular cadre and on contract basis. Other positions available are: Distinguished Faculty, Adjunct Faculty, Honorary Faculty, Visiting Faculty, Joint Appointment with Industry, Faculty on Deputation, and Faculty on Contract. These ‘other’ positions do not necessarily require a PhD, but experience shall be preferably recognized. Emoluments for these positions will be decided liberally and on a case-tocase basis. Candidates, who are submitting their PhD theses and are likely to complete their defense in the next six months, can also apply for a suitable post. If PhDs are not available, as may be the case in the fields of Computer Science and Petroleum Engineering, high class Master’s Degree candidates with significant experience, may be considered on a contract basis. An outstanding candidate in a related field not listed explicitly herein under, may be considered for an appropriate position.

- Chemical Engineering: All areas in Chemical Engineering including Chemical Reaction Engineering, Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Separation Processes, Process Dynamics and Control, Simulation and Optimization, Environmental Pollution and Control, Energy and Related Areas, Computer-aided Design, Polymer Engineering and Science, Petroleum Refining Operations, CFD, Rheology, Process Engineering, Chemical Process Safety, Process Intensification, Risk Analysis, Plant design.
- Chemistry: Inorganic, Organic, Physical Chemistry, Chemistry of Hydrocarbons, Catalysis and all areas in the domain field of RGIPT.
- Computer Science & Engineering: All areas of Computer Science.
- Electrical Engineering: All areas of Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications/ Computer Engineering/Instrumentation/ Controls Engineering relevant to the Domain nature of RGIPT

- Mechanical Engineering: Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Systems, Manufacturing, Solid Mechanics, Graphics, Design Systems and Control, Energy Systems, CFD, Nanotechnology, NDT, Nuclear Engineering, Solar Energy, Other forms of energy.
- Mathematics: Operations Research, Mathematical Programming, Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Analysis, and areas of pure & applied Mathematics.
