WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Walk-in-interview for the following posts under various departments of this university will be held as per schedule mentioned against the disciplines. The proposed appointment will be made purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (excluding vacation period) or till such time the posts are filled on regular basis whichever is earlier:

1) Lecturer , Posts : 41 Post( Applied Physics -4, Information Technology-12,Mathematics-1,Polymer Science & Chemical Technology-10, Applied Chemistry-2, Environmental Engineering-7,Bio-Technology-5 )

Qualification :

Applied Physics
Good Academic Records with 1ST CLASS M.Sc. degree in Physics.
OR
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the
Master’s Degree level in Physics from an Indian University OR an equivalent
degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling this qualification, candidates
should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectures conducted by
the U.G.C./C.S.I.R. OR similar test accredited by the U.G.C.

Information Technology
First Class Bachelor’s Degree In Information Technology / Electronics and
communication Engineering /Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized
university or equivalent
OR
First class M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Physics /
Electronics / Computer Science/MCA with First Class M.Tech/ME degree in
Information Technology /Computer Science/Electronics & Communication
Engineering
OR
First Class MBA with specialization in Systems/Information Technology from a
recognized University or equivalent

Mathematics
Good academic record with first class M.Sc. degree in Mathematics.
OR
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the
Master’s Degree level in Mathematics from an Indian University or an equivalent
degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling this qualification, candidates
should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectures conducted by
the U.G.C./C.S.I.R. OR similar test accredited by the U.G.C.

Polymer Science & Chemical Technology

A. First Class Master’s Degree in Polymer Science / Polymer Engineering /
Polymer Technology / Chemical Technology from a recognized university or
equivalent.(No minimum experience is required)
OR
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science / Polymer Engineering /
Polymer Technology / Chemical Technology or equivalent, valid GATE score,
minimum 75 percent to complete M.Tech. / ME within 5 years failing which the
increments will be stopped until the postgraduate degree is earned.

Applied Chemistry
Good academic record with first class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry.
OR
Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the
Master’s Degree level in the Chemistry from an Indian University or an equivalent
degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling this qualification, candidates
should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectures conducted by
the U.G.C./C.S.I.R. or similar test accredited by the U.G.C.

Environmental Engineering

First Class Master’s Degree in civil Engineering /Environmental Engg./ Public
Health. (No minimum experience is required)
OR
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering /Environmental Engg./ Public
Health or equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percent to complete
M.Tech. / ME within 5 years failing which the increments will be stopped until the
postgraduate degree is earned.
B. Qualification and experience for candidates from Industry & Profession
First Class Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engg./ Public
Health Technology. (No minimum experience is required)
OR
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Environment Engineering / Technology or
equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percent to complete M.Tech. / ME
within 5 years failing which the increments will be stopped until the postgraduate
degree is earned.

Bio-Technology

First Class Master’s Degree in Bio- Technology from a recognized university or
equivalent.(No minimum experience is required)
OR
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Technology
OR
Ph.D. in Applied Biological Sciences such as Microbiology, Biochemistry,
Genetics Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Biophysics.
B. Qualification and experience for candidates from Industry & Profession
First Class Master’s Degree in Bio- Technology from a recognized university or
equivalent.(No minimum experience is required)
OR
First Class Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Technology
OR
Ph.D. in Applied Biological Sciences such as Microbiology, Biochemistry,
Genetics Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Biophysics.

Interested persons may appear for the walk-in-interview alongwith their bio-data, photo and original & attested copies of their educational and other relevant certificates between 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on the date mentioned for the concerned post for verification of documents and interview in Senate Hall, 2nd Floor, Administration Building, DTU Campus. Candidates who report after 2.00 pm will not be considered.
