Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for appointment to Group ‘A’ post of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in Central Police Forces (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

1. Deputy Commandant (Specialist Medical Officer) : 259 posts in various CPOs (CRPF-145, BSF-67, ITBP-19, Assam Rifles - 7, SSB-21) in various Specilities, Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100/- plus Grade pay Rs.6600/-, Age : 35 years
2. Assistant Commandant (Medical Officer) : 283 posts in various CPOs (CRPF-4, BSF-62, ITBP-131, Assam Rifles - 56, SSB-30) in various Specilities, Pay Scale : Rs.15600 – 39100/- plus Grade pay Rs.5400/-, Age : 30 years
