Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Bhubaneswar invites applications from the Indian nationals for filling up of the following post on direct recruitment / transfer on deputation including permanent absorption and / or contract basis:
i. Deputy Librarian: 1 Post (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks. At least 8 years experience as an Assistant Librarian.
ii. Assistant Registrar : 2 Posts (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : A Master Degree in an appropriate branch/graduate having qualified Subordinate Accounts Services with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Audits, Finance, Budget in a Central Government Department.
iii. Asst Executive Engineer (Civil and Electrical) : 02 Posts, Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100/- (PB-3) Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil /Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with at least 6 years experience in the execution and supervision of a large Civil/ Electrical Works , Building construction etc as Asst Engineer.
iv. Private Secretary : 2 Posts (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Smart graduates/must have Computer knowledge. Working Experience of at least 5 years as PA/PS.
v. Senior Library Information Assistant : 2 Posts (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Library Science after obtaining a degree or its equivalent in General/Technical Education, At least 2 years’ in a Library of repute.
vi. Junior Superintendent (Academic /Administration/Accounts) : 5 Posts (4-UR & 1 OBC), Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree with one year experience.
vii. Junior Technician : 3 Posts (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200/- (PB-1) Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Engineering OR Senior/Higher Secondary Pass with ITI pass in first division and 5 years relevant experience in Industry.
viii. Junior Assistant : 3 Posts (UR), Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200/- (PB-1) Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-, Minimum Qualification & Experience : Graduate in any discipline computer key depression speed equivalent to 60 WPM, proficiency in Office applications like Words, Excel, Power Points etc. Exposure to office procedure like maintenance of files, noting, drafting, diary, dispatch etc. are essential.
