- Educational Qualification :
- For Technical Officer : Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule to the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) with registration in the Veterinary Council of India or in a State Veterinary Council with three years experience of working in the field of artificial insemination and production of frozen semen.
- For Assistant Anthropologists : Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University or equivalent with evidence of specialization in Cultural Anthropology with one year research experience in the field of Cultural Anthropology.
- For Lady Medical Officer : A recognized Medical Qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. And Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
- For Senior Scientific Officer : M.Sc Degree in Physiology or Pharmacology of a recognized University or equivalent with eight years experience in research and testing in the field of Toxicology.
- Nationality : Indian

- For Assistant Anthropologists & Lady Medical Officer : 30 years
- For Senior Scientific Officer : 40 years
