Indian Air Force (IAF) is one of the arms of
Indian Armed Forces. It was established in 8th October, 1932 during the British reign with the objective of securing Indian airspace. After independence it came under the
Ministry of Defence of Government of India. Since then it has faced 4 wars,

Currently it is employing 1,27,000 personnel and is recruiting
every year. It often conducts recruitment rallies in various states. Such IAF recruitment

: Rs. 11,400/- during training
period. After completion of training they will draw salary approximately Rs.24,900/-
p.m.

between 01st August 1995 to 30th
November, 1998
Educational
Qualifications: 10+2
or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and English or Engineering diploma
in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science /
Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology.
Airman in Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician} Trades
Stipend
: Rs. 11,400/- during training
period. After completion of training they will draw salary approximately Rs.20,500/-
p.m.
Age Limit
: Born
between 01st August 1995 to 30th
November, 1998
Educational Qualifications: 10+2 or Intermediate in any
stream
Selection Procedure: Document Verification -> Written Test -> Physical Fitness Test
-> Interview -> Trade Allocation Test -> Medical Examination.
