SBI Recruitment 2013 for the post of the 46 posts of Management Executive: State
Bank of India (SBI) had announced to make the recruitment of the
applicant for the 46 posts of Management Executive under different
categories whose detail is as below:- SC – 14 posts
- ST – 7 posts
- OBC – 25 posts
Educational Criterion Set: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma is required in the field of the Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, International Business, Operations Management, Systems; HR is the requisite from the applicants to have qualified for the post.
Fees Schedule: Fee could be paid either by the offline process or online process and fee which is being premeditated is the Rs. 500 for the OBC candidates and Rs. 100 for the SC, ST and PWD applicants.
Selection Method: Written examination is the initiative process that will be leaded by the group discussion and viva voce i.e. interview.
Scheme to submit an application: Applicants are announced to follow the registration process which is being summed up by the State Bank of India (SBI) online and the print out of the application must be retained for the future conventions.
Important Date:
- Date from which the process of the registration online will start is 16th Dec 2013.
- Closing date for the registration is 3rd Jan 2014.
- Dates for the online payment are in between the 16th Dec 2013 to 3rd Jan 2014.
- Dates for the offline payment are in between the 18th Dec 2013 to 7th Jan 2014.
- Date for the examination is 23rd Feb 2014.

SBI Recruitment 2013 Eligibility Criteria?
With such a prestigious crown to its
name, every person desires to be a part of SBI. However, one necessarily
needs to fulfill certain basic and explicit conditions when it comes to
occupying a seat in any branch of the State Bank of India through “SBI Bank Recruitment Project 2013“.
1) For Clerks:
Selection of clerks is carried out by a program known as SBI Clerk Exam
which has various restrictions based on educational qualifications and
age. People who want to pursue their career as a clerk in the State Bank
of India require fulfilling the following necessities:
- The candidate must have achieved 60% in 10+2 (For General)
- The candidate must have achieved 55% in 10+2 (For SC/ST)
- A degree from any recognized institute is welcomed
- Liberty to Diploma candidates also applies, whereas they can opt for this post.
In terms of age the following criteria must be met:
- The minimum required age for this post is 18 years as on 01/12/2011 (Applicable for all)
- Maximum age should not exceed 28 years (For general)
- Adjustment of 3.5 years is available for SC/ST
- Adjustment of 4.3 years is available for BC candidates
If all the basic criteria in terms of age and educational qualification are fulfilled, the candidate chooses to appear for SBI clerk recruitment program.
2) For Probationary Officers: Probationary Officers resembles a higher post which has greater share of authority and responsibility as a result of which it requires better knowledge of the candidate. Educational qualification in such respect is in form of:
- The candidate must have achieved 60% in 10+2 (For General)
- The candidate must have achieved 55% in 10+2 (For SC/ST)
- A degree from any recognized institute is welcomed
- Basic Knowledge in computer such as MS Office, etc.,
- Fluency in English and local language
As far the age criteria goes, following conditions must be satisfies:
- The minimum required age for this post is 21 years as on 01/12/2011 (Applicable for all)
- Maximum age should not exceed 30 years (For general)
- Adjustment of 5 years is available for SC/ST (Upper Limit)
- Adjustment of 3 years is available for BC candidates (Upper Limit)
Apart from these mandatory requirements, there are two most essential necessities in form of:
- The applying candidate must be a citizen of India, and
Question: Is IBPS scores or examination necessary to Apply for SBI Recruitment?
Answer: No, SBI is individual body and
does not comes under IBPS recruitment process. SBI held the examination
and recruitment process under its own regulation. All process will be
done by SBI itself. In other words you can say that State Bank of India recruitment will not be held though IBPS at all.
Syllabus for SBI Recruitment 2013
An effort has been made to craft the
most technical form of examinations that can cater the needs of the
organization along with testing the potential within the candidates.
Both examinations have different demands depending upon their complexity
of operations.
1) For Clerks: The syllabus for SBI Recruitment of Clerical Cadre, a candidate needs to focus on five distinct sections, namely,
- English: The test of English includes comprehension and grammar usage mainly.
- Logical Reasoning: Logical reasoning includes a test of calculative thinking and precision.
- Numerical Ability: Numerical Ability shall test a candidate’s mathematical grip and includes chapters that were present at 10 + 2 level.
- Computer Knowledge: Computer Knowledge will put forward questions with respect to basic operations such as MS Office, etc., and
- General Awareness: Will test a candidate’s general knowledge and alertness with respect to events that have recently taken place.
2) For Probationary Officers: For
the post of Probationary officers, the syllabus is much compact and
demanding as the post requires superior responsibility handling ability.
In such context, there will be four broad categories that require to be
dealt with:
- English: This will testify the ability of a candidate to deal with English. Grammar, Comprehension, Vocabulary, etc., will form a core of the paper.
- General Awareness, Computers and Marketing: This section will deal with a candidate’s general knowledge which shall compromise of knowledge in marketing, computers and other general affairs.
- Data Analysis and interpretation: This section includes the ability of the candidates to read visual tables and derive channelized information out of it. This section can be very scoring if data and tables can be simplified into scattered information.
- Reasoning ability: Reasoning abilities for probationary officers resemble a higher degree of complexities that requires better solution techniques and approach.
