1. Professor :
No of post : 06 Posts (SC-3, OPEN-3)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s and Ph.D. in Law, Political Sciences, Anthropology, Economics and other Social Sciences. The selected candidate would have strong theoretical foundation and demonstrated experience in the area of Social Justice, Social Inclusion and Exclusion, and human rights. In addition, strong understanding of current debates and issues in human rights policy, practice.
2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 07 Posts (SC-3, ST-2, OPEN-2)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work and Master’s degree in Law / History.
3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 06 Posts (SC-1, ST-1, OBC-1, OPEN-3)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 15600 to 39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s and Ph.D. in Education, Economics, Human Rights, Political Science, Public Administration, Law and related areas. Preference will be given to the candidates with strong research and publications record, and who have experience in curricula or human rights education resource development. The candidate is required to have practical experience to design, plan and deliver human rights education courses.
4. Librarian :
No of post : 01 Post (OPEN-1)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
5. Coordinator :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37,400 to 67,000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
6. Research Associate :
No of post : 03 Posts (OBC-1, OPEN-2)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12000/- per month plus H.R.A.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s in Human Rights /Political Science / Psychology / Sociology or any related discipline. Preference will be given to the candidates with Ph.D., publications and practical experience to design, plan and deliver human rights education courses, research projects, seminars and training programmes and display contribution to field level interventions in various human rights oriented projects.
