Thapar University is inviting applications from desirous and committed candidates for the recruitment of Distinguished Professor, Sr. Professor, Professor & Assistant Professor in the department of Sciences, Management, Engineering and Social Science for Chandigarh and patiala Campuses. 1. Distinguished Professor – Rs.72000 + Rs.14000 AGP
2. Sr. Professor – Rs.66000 + Rs.12000 AGP
3. Professor – Rs.53000 + Rs.11000 AGP
4. Associate Professor – Rs.45500 + Rs.10000 AGP
5. Asst. Professor – Rs.37400 + Rs.9500 AGP
6. Asst. Professor – Rs.30000 + Rs.8500 AGP
7. Asst. Professor – Rs.26000 + Rs.8000 AGP
8. Asst. Professor – Rs.22000 + Rs.7000 AGP
9. Lecturer (Contractual) – Rs.18500 + Rs.6000 AGP
Academic Qualifications:
• Distinguished Professor: – Doctorate degree with 1st Class Preceding Degree and good academic record. 16 years experience in Teaching or Researching
• Sr. Professor: – 1st Class preceding Degree and Ph.D with Good Academic Record. Teaching / Research Experience of 16 years
• Sr. Professor: – 1st Class preceding Degree and Ph.D with Good Academic Record. Teaching / Research Experience of 10 years
• Professor: – 1st Class preceding Degree and Ph.D with Good Academic Record. Teaching / Research Experience of 6 years
• Associate Professor: – 1st Class preceding Degree and Ph.D with Good Academic Record. Teaching / Research Experience of 03 years
• Assistant Professor: – Doctorate degree and 1st Class preceding degree with good academic record with 3 year teaching / research experience
• Asst. Professor: – Ph.D with good academic record and 1st Class preceding degree
• Lecturer (Contractual): – Post Graduate degree with 1st Class. Master of Engineering / Technology or Master of Business Administration in Engineering / Ph.D
