Bhilai Ispat PlantSteel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) requires eligible Indian Nationals, to participate in the selection process of the recruitment of Attendant cum Technician. In this regard applications in requisite format are being invited from eligible candidates. There are 83 altogether posts available under various trade. On the basis of regular appointment these posts will be filled. Candidates may view recruitment related details under following paragraph: -

Fitter: – 21 (UR-12, SC-02, ST-06, OBC-01)
Electrician: – 20 (UR-11, SC-02, ST-06, OBC-01)
Welder: – 10 (UR-06, SC-01, ST-03)
Turner: – 10 (UR-06, SC-01, ST-03)
Meson: – 04 (UR-03, ST-01)
Machinist: – 05 (UR-04, ST-01)
Motor Vehicle Mechanic: – 03 (UR-03)
H.V Driver: – 10 (UR-06, SC-01, ST-03)
Age Limit: – As on 01.01.2011 candidates should attain 18 years but not passed 28 years
Relaxation of Age: – Candidates of reserved categories may get max age relaxation as per rules admissible: – SC/ST up to 05 years, OBC up to 03 years, PWD up to 10 years. Applicants who has completed Trade Apprentice from Bhilai Ispat Plant up to 2001 will eligible to get max age relaxation. Such candidates max age would be extended to 40 years
Educational Qualification: – Matriculation with ITI in Trade of Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Turner, Meson, Machinist, Motor Vehicle Mechanic form recognised NCVT institutions.
Desirable: – Apprentice Training after completion of ITI in shown trade
Period of Training: – 02 years
Stipend: - Rs. 6600/- per month will be paid during first year of Training and Rs. 7700/- for rest of the training
Note: – After successful completion of Training candidates will be employed at S-1 Grade (Rs. 8630-3%-12080/-) Regular Posts.
Physical Standard: -
Height: – 155 cms
Weight: – 45 kgs
Chest (with out expanded): – 75 cms
Chest (With expansion): – 79 cms
Eye Sight: – 6/9 with glasses
Selection Process: – Candidates eligible will be selected on account of Interview performance
Exam Fee: – Crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 250/- would be required to pay as exam fee. DD should be issued in favour of "Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Ispat Plant" payable at Bhilai.
Fee Exemption: – SC/ST and PWD candidates are not required to pay any exam fee
Enclosures: – Educational Qualification Certificates, Age Proof, Caste, Trade Certificates, duly attested photographs and DD as exam fee
How to apply: – Candidates having shown eligibility may apply for the recruitment on plain paper. The plain paper has such mandatory field, as: – Post Applied For, Name of Applicant, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Experience, Postal Address, Permanent Address, Moblie No., Category, Educational Qualification Details, Apprentice Declaration, DD Details, Signature of Applicant.
