WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR SELECTION OF
SEMI SKILLED WELDERS/STRUCTURAL FITTERS
ON CONTRACT BASIS
  • Semi Skilled Welder on Contract Basis 
    • No of Posts: 50 Nos
    • Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in Welder and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
  • Semi Skilled Structural Fitters on Contract Basis 
    • No of Posts: 24 Nos
    • Qualification: Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) in the trades of Sheet Metal Worker/ Fitter and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
  • Remuneration: Consolidated pay of Rs. 6750/-pm
  • Period of Contract: The period of contract will be one year.
  • Age: Age shall not exceed 30 years as on 27 Jun 2011 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD.
  • Method of Selection:  Walk in interview will be conducted from 0900 Hrs to 1500 hrs on 08th & 09th July 2011 at Cochin Shipyard Indoor Stadium, Thevara. Candidates meeting the requirements will only be shortlisted and they need to attend a practical test on the same day or on a later date as fixed by the Shipyard.
