CLERKS’ GRADE LIMITED DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATION, 2009
(FOR REGULARLY APPOINTED GROUP ‘D’ STAFF ONLY).

Staff Selection Commission will hold on 10.01.2010 (Sunday) a qualifying examination for recruitment of Group ‘D’ Staff in the Lower Division Grade against the temporary Jobs reserved for regularly appointment in (i) Central Secretariat Clerical Service (ii) Armed Force Headquarters Clerical Service (Group ‘D’ employees of AFHQ under the control of J.S. (T) & CAO will be eligible for appointment against the vacancies in AFHQ only (iii) Grade VI of the I.F.S. Branch ‘B’ Ministry of External Affairs Clerical Service and Central Vigilance Commission Clerical Service.
OMR based application form alongwith instructions to candidates will be available at Regional Offices of the Commission on payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) in cash or through IPO in favour of Secretary, Staff Selection Commission, Block No. 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110504 payable at New Delhi.

- NUMBER OF VACANCIES:- The number of vacancies to be filled up on the basis of this examination will be as per vacancies intimated to the Commission by each of the Cadre Authority participating in this examination.
- CONDITION OF ELIGIBILITY:- Group ‘D’ employees holding Group ‘D’ post on regular basis in any of the above mentioned Services/Ministry/Offices are eligible to appear in the examination for vacancies existing only in their respective Service/Ministry/Office.
- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: As on 01.08.2009, the candidate must have passed matriculation or equivalent or higher examination from a recognized Education Board/Parished.
- AGE LIMIT: Not more than 50 years of age on 01.08.2009 (Born not earlier than 02.08.1959). This age limit is relaxable upto a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
