Vacancy of Judicial Translators in High Court of Delhi

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from the Indian Nationals (Citizens of India as defined in the Constitution of India or under any law made by the Parliament to regulate the rights for citizenship) for filling up the existing vacancies and preparing a panel of candidates for appointment to the following posts on the establishment of this Court:-
  • SENIOR JUDICIAL TRANSLATOR– (Likely vacancies 3)
    • Pay band of Rs.9300-34800+ Grade Pay of Rs. 4600
    • Essential Qualifications:- B.A.(Hons.) in English or Hindi or Urdu with Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi/ Urdu to English and vice versa from University/ Institute recognized by the Government OR 3 years experience in translation work from Hindi/ Urdu to English and vice versa in Central/ State Government offices/ Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariats or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/ High Courts.
  • JUDICIAL TRANSLATOR – (Likely vacancies 8) (UR-3, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1)
    • Pay band of Rs.9300-34800+ Grade Pay of Rs. 4200
    • Essential Qualification:- Graduate with English/ Hindi/ Urdu as one of the languages at the degree level and Diploma/ certificate course in translation from Hindi/ Urdu to English and vice versa from University/ Institute recognized by the Government OR 2 years experience in translation work from Hindi/ Urdu to English and vice versa in Central/ State Government Offices/ Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariats or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/ High Courts
