Eligibility Criteria for SAIL Recruitment :
- Educational Qualification :
- For Operator-cum-Technician : Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical disciplines from a Govt. recognized Institute with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
- For Attendant-cum-Technician : Matriculation and ITI (full time) in Fitter/ Electrician trades from Govt. Recognised Institute OR Matriculation with Heavy Duty Vehicle Driving Licence and having at least one year experience in operation of Dumpers& Dozers, etc.
- For Specialist / Medical Officer : MBBS with MD / MS or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline from a University/Institute recognized by the MCI and with atleast 3 years post qualification experience after MD/MS.
- Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : As on 05.08.2016
- For Operator-cum-Technician & Attendant-cum-Technician : 28 years
- For Specialist / Medical Officer : 37 years/30 years
Age Relaxation :
- For ST/ST Candidates : 5 years
- For OBC Candidates : 3 years
