Male Candidates for Enrollment as
Sailors - Sports Quota Entry 02/2016 Batch.
Age : 17 to 21 and 17-21 years for various category of recruitment
Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 grade Rs.2000 and Military service pay Rs.2000 and other allowances.
Selection Criteria : Deserving candidates would be called to appear for trials at designated Naval Centres.
Sports Discipline : Outstanding sportsman who have participated at International/ National / State level in the disciplines mentioned below may apply for Recruitment :
Athletics, Aquatics Basket Ball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Gymnastic, Hand Ball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Squash and Best Physique and Equestrian (Horse Polo)
How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, sports discipline with achievements is to be clearly on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be Brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope should be sent to: The Secretary, Indian Navy Sports Control Board, 7th Floor, Chanakya Bhavan, Integrated Headquarters, MoD (Navy), New Delhi - 110021
Last Date : Last date of receiving the application is27/05/2016. For far-flung areas the last date is 03/06/2016.
