Eligibility Criteria for SSC Recruitment :
  • Educational Qualification :
  • For Junior Translator & Senior Hindi Translator : Master‟s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Master‟s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level and Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.
  • For Hindi Pradhyapak : Bachelor‟s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subject at degree level either as compulsory or optional from a recognized University or Institute plus Master‟s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute plus Bachelor of Education from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit :  30 years as on 01.01.2016.
Age of Relaxation :
  • SC & ST Category : 5 years
  • OBC-NCL Category : 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen Category : 03 years
Selection Process : Selection based on Written Examination. The written examination will consist of (Paper-I) Objective Type & (Paper-II) Conventional Type.
